Design Strategies for Off-Street Parking in High-Density Industrial Areas: A Case Study of Industrial Estates in Indonesia Tetty Sulastry Mardiana, Mutharuddin, Purwoko, Novi Irawati, Subaryata, Herma Juniati, Tania Andari, Hasriwan Putra, Nurul Aldha Maulidina Siregar Evergreen, 2026 The rapid expansion of industrial zones has resulted in increased freight traffic and significant parking shortages, especially in high-density industrial estates in Indonesia. This study aims to quantify the parking space requirements for logistics vehicles and propose an optimized off-street parking design to improve traffic flow and safety. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining field surveys, vehicle counts, driver interviews, and spatial mapping during peak hours over three consecutive weekdays. The analysis used Parking Space Units (PSU), and Parking Space Requirements (PSR) to determine that 11,637 m² (plus a 30% reserve) is needed to relocate roadside-parked trucks. The proposed off-street facility can accommodate 203 wing box trucks or single-axle, 113 passenger cars and 350 motorcycles, with essential amenities for drivers. This research contributes a data-driven framework for industrial estate managers and policymakers to design sustainable parking facilities, reducing congestion, fuel consumption, and emissions in densely industrialized regions.
Green Economy Practices and Sustainability Achievements in Environmental Governance: Empirical Evidence from Bukit Peramun Uchaimid Biridloi Robby, Tatang Rusata, Tania Andari, Sari Andarwati, Riri Kusumaran, Pradika Wahyu Dwi Putra International Review for Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development, 2025 The green economy is an economic approach that emphasizes sustainable growth through environmentally friendly program strategies. Bukit Peramun tourist village in Belitung is a prime example of a green economy initiative in the tourism sector, positively impacting local community's economy through its management practices. This research aims to explore how the implementation of green economy strategies has the potential to enhance the welfare and empowerment of the community in developing their area as a tourist attraction. Employing a qualitative method, this study gathers data through secondary sources, observations, and interviews with local tourism offices, marketing departments, and creative economy stakeholders. The findings indicate that Bukit Peramun has emerged as a source of new economic opportunities, with its management effectively utilizing the green economy concept to promote community empowerment as active participant in development. The emphasis on local wisdom serves as a compelling draw for tourists interested in cultural experiences, fostering a sense of pride among residents and creating economic opportunities tied to the village's unique offerings. Furthermore, supports from collaborative networks with policymakers facilitates access to essential services, enhancing the development of Bukit Peramun as it operates within the green economy framework.
Village-Owned Enterprises Perspectives Towards Challenges and Opportunities in Rural Entrepreneurship: A Qualitative Study with Maxqda Tools Imam Radianto Anwar Setia Putra, Radna Andi Wibowo, Purwadi, Tania Andari, Asrori, Nisa Novia Avien Christy, Catur Wibowo Budi Santoso, Herman Yaarozatulo Harefa, Edy Suryawardana Administrative Sciences, 2025 The Village Fund program was started by the Indonesian government in 2015 and had a budget of USD 19.14 billion for the years 2015–2019. This research aims to provide novel insights into the importance of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in promoting rural entrepreneurship in rural areas of Indonesia. The investigation employs an approach that specifically emphasizes qualitative data. The individuals under investigation include the Director of the Office for Community Empowerment, Village, Population, and Civil Registration (Dispermadesdukcapil), along with five administrators/managers from BUMDes. In the “Synergy and Involvement” category, the results suggest that BUMDes are more inclined to collaborate with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and other BUMDes at a similar or slightly higher level in their organizational structure rather than with large-scale companies. This is due to the fact that SMEs and other BUMDes are more inclined to have a strong and interconnected bond with each other.
Measuring electronic road pricing with MICMAC analysis: A case study of Jakarta, Indonesia Arditya Wicaksono, Tania Andari, Lukman Nul Hakim, Purnama Alamsyah, Gustaf Wijaya Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2025 The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta is striving to implement a road pricing policy aimed at reducing congestion and encouraging the use of public transportation. This policy is expected to provide solutions to various problems caused by heavy traffic in Jakarta, such as economic, health, and environmental impacts. However, the dynamics of this policy has triggered pro and con responses by the public. Some parties support it, considering it capable of reducing the number of private vehicles on the road, while others oppose it, arguing that it could burden private vehicle users. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach through MICMAC (Matrix of Cross Impact Multiplications Applied to a Classification) analysis. MICMAC analysis will identify key factors, classify factors, and visualize dynamics, helping to understand the interactions between factors and thus enable better decision-making, which is highly beneficial for policymakers. There is a common thread that this policy is perceived as unpopular, although technically, Jakarta needs an advanced connectivity policy to achieve more efficient and environmentally friendly mobility.
