KABARAK UNIVERSITY
Prof. Henry Kiptiony Kiplangat is the current Vice chancellor, Kabarak university. He has served Kabarak University from its inception in 2002. He is a founder member of the University Council and served in the Council until May 2015, when he was appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance), Kabarak University. As a result of Prof. Kiplangat’s focus on achievement and contribution to nation-building through meticulous leadership and the production of top students in national examinations, leading to high-end, value-laden professionals, he caught national recognition. He holds the award of Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (M.B.S.) and the Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (O.G.W.), both of which are medals awarded by H.E., the President of the Republic of Kenya, in recognition of the distinguished services rendered to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities.
